Michigan Offers Real Estate Procrastinators a Silver Lining!

Real Estate Licensing Deadline

The deadline for renewing your Michigan Real Estate License was October 31st, 2015. Licensees were required to complete at least 18 hours of continuing education per 3-year cycle.  Now, if you are like me, even though you had 3 years to complete the 18-Hr. required CE, you still ran out of time. With the deadline passed and CEU credits to make up what should you do??

There is a Silver lining!

The State of Michigan is offering a 60-day grace period for all Michigan Real Estate Licensees.  How does it work? Realtors who were not able to complete any continuing education courses simply go to Real Estate Training Institute and select one of our 18-Hr packages. For Realtors and Brokers who haven’t been able to squeeze those last few hours of CE into their schedule we have a variety of CE courses to complete your 18-hrs, click here for a list of courses.

What’s next?

Once all the continued education is complete you will submit your renewal application to the state via online or mail. The Real Estate Licensing grace period is $20.00 in addition to the $78.00 renewal fee.
